Delfino G. Mancha was born on July 21, 1954, to Jesus & Jovita Mancha in Alpine, Tx. He married the love of his life, Guadalupe “Lupe” Leal Mancha on March 3, 1973, in Odessa, Texas.

Delfino was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan who could be found cheering them on while yelling “Prende la vela” and scratching his lottery tickets. Delfino was known for his jokes, his cheerful personality, his dance moves, but also for being a loyal worker. Delfino spent many years working for General Tire where he formed lasting friendships, those bonds created family ties that have endured till today. Delfino then went to work for Production Pump/DXP, where he called home for the last 15 years or so.

Delfino’s greatest achievements were his 3 girls, Velia Mancha, Liza Mancha and Aurora Mancha. They truly were mommy’s girls, but definitely daddy’s world.

But nothing compared to the pride and joy that his grandchildren would bring, Zachery Mancha, Ariel Garcia, Ryan Mancha-Subia, Justin Mancha, Devon Subia, Jacobrian Mancha, Ethan Garcia, Jonavan Subia, Aubrie Subia, Jazlynn Mancha, J'Isac Mancha, Brystal Garcia, J'Erik Mancha, J'Avien Mancha and great grandchildren, Aaliyah Mancha, Zachery Ronan Mancha, Layla Mancha, Jaylen Mancha, Kai Mancha, Eliazar Mancha, Elian Garcia and Aria Muela. He was their biggest supporter and their loudest fan!

Delfino had an incredible bond with his Birthday Buddy and Las Vegas traveling partner, Hector Garcia and his personal assistant, Larry Rodriguez.

Delfino is proceeded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Leal Mancha; his parents, Jesus and Jovita Mancha; his brother Jesse (Chuy) Mancha, Jr.; and his nephew, Jesse (Tata) Mancha III.

Delfino will be greatly missed. Especially by his siblings, Leonarda Mancha, Georgia (John) Gamez, Rosie (Manuel) Bermea and his baby brother, Joaquin (Norma) Mancha. Thank you all for helping us take great care of our daddy, we couldn’t have done it with you all.

We would like to thank the staff of MD ANDERSON for the warm and loving care they showed towards our daddy and thank all our family and friends that drove to Houston to be with us. We appreciate you all.

The pallbearers will be Joaquin Mancha, Zachery Mancha, Ryan Subia, Jonavan Subia, Ethan Garcia, Jacobrian Mancha, Joshua Gamez, Jacob Gamez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddy Leal, Matthew Galindo, Johnathan Pena, Victor Muela, Frank Leal III, Paul Anthony Vela.
