Mary Lou Prieto, 74, of Odessa, TX passed away on 12/28/2025 in Odessa, Tx.

Memorial will be on January 3, 2026, at Martinez Funeral Home.

Mary was born in Midland, Texas to Esperanza Ramos and Esequel Mendoza on April 24,1951. She married Elias C. Prieto on September 18, 1967, in Odessa, Tx. Mary was a proud homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mary lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, watching her grandchildren grow up, and family time. She had a passionate love of reading, and she was a source of love and warmth to everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother Esperanza Jimenez, father Esequel Mendoza and stepfather Jesus Jimenez,

Mary is survived by her husband Elias C.Prieto Jr, David Prieto, Johnny and Maria Prieto, Yvonne Prieto, Annette Ayala. Grand children Audriana Hartwig husband Trint Hartwig, Jonathan Prieto, Destiny Martinez husband Freddy Martinez, Jasmin Prieto, and Sophia Ayala. Great grandchildren Oliviah Hartwig, Jacob Prieto, Elijah Hartwig, Elena Prieto, Noah Hatten
