Jennifer Rios

Jennifer Rios, 47, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on January 18, 2026, in Odessa, Texas.

She was born on September 19, 1978, in Slaton, Texas, to Manuel and Ruth Rios. Jennifer attended Permian High School, where she graduated in 1997. She devoted many years as a VIP at Milam Elementary, generously giving her time and care to support students and staff. Jennifer was a loving Nana whose world revolved around her grandchildren. She was a devoted daughter who selflessly cared for both of her parents.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Rios.

She is survived by her children: Jonathan Ray Rios and wife Vanessa of Odessa, Byron Alexander Rios and wife Elianna of Odessa, and Aaric Zacai Rios Odessa. She is also survived by her father, Manuel Rios; her brothers and sisters, Lisa Cardenas of Seminole, Texas, Michael Rios of Odessa, Texas, and John Albert Rios of Odessa, Texas; and her grandchildren, Clarissa Nicole Rios, Cole Anderson Rios, Marianna Ruth Rios, Colby Issac Rios, and Ariella Stella Rios, all of Odessa. She also leaves behind her niece, Destinee Rios, whom she cared for as her own, along with numerous other nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be her sons, Jonathan Rios, Byron Rios, and Aaric Rios; her grandsons, Cole Rios and Colby Rios; and her nephews, Jeremiah Aldape, Ryan Aldape, Dylan Aldape, and Aaron Alvidrez;

Visitation will be 1:00-9:00, Thursday January 22, 2026 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM

Funeral service will be held 10:00AM Friday January 23, 2026 at Martinez funeral home with Pastor Craig DeArmond officiating. Arrangements are by Martinez funeral home
