Rosemary Adame Orta

Rosemary Adame Orta, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026 at the age of 76. She was a woman of unwavering faith, remarkable strength, and deep love for her family.

Rosemary lived her life rooted in her Christian faith, trusting God through every season. Her strength was evident not only in the challenges she faced, but in the grace, kindness, and compassion she showed to others. She was a prayer warrior and source of strength, comfort, wisdom, and encouragement to all who knew her.

She had a special love for her dogs, who brought her great joy and companionship, and she found beauty and peace in nature, which reflected her gentle spirit and appreciation for God’s creation. Her home and heart were always open, and her love will continue to bloom in the lives she touched.

Rosemary is survived by her children, including Mary Valenzuela and Gilbert Granados Jr; her grandchildren, Fernando G. Valenzuela and Victoria Valenzuela; her great-grandchildren, Ezra Fernando Valenzuela, Josiah Elizandro Pizarro, Rey Ryder Riojas and Violet Roxanne Riojas; and all the many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Refugio Orta, Jr. and all of her siblings.

A celebration of her life and funeral will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Martinez Funeral Home, located at 1040 S. Dixie, Odessa TX. Services will include prayer service on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 7:00pm, with public viewing from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM that same day. Please join us in remembrance of the laughter she shared and her faithful walk with the Lord.

Though she will be deeply missed, we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.
