Valerie Diaz

Valerie Grace Diaz went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

Valerie was born in Odessa on May 18, 1999. She was a mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and beloved friend to many. Valerie was a selfless, compassionate person who loved people, forgave easily and had a gift to comfort and encourage anyone who was facing troubles or difficulties despite of her own. Upon meeting Valerie, you knew she had a welcoming heart who not only embraced relationships but put their needs and wants above her own. She loved pizza, listening to music, the art of make-up and beauty and spending time with family and friends laughing and reminiscing. Most of all she loved and adored Aubrey, who was her whole world. She was an extremely hard worker and wanted nothing more than to give Aubrey an amazing life.

We will always remember the reflection of God’s love she was to anyone she met, her caring personality and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for friends and family will be Tuesday, August 23 from 10am-9pm at Martinez Funeral Home, 1040 S. Dixie, Odessa, TX 79761. A Tribute/Eulogy will begin at 7pm and you are encouraged to share your loving memories.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Odessa Christian Faith Center with Zachary Carter officiating.

She is survived by her daughter Aubrey Nichole Hernandez, Mother Sendy Marquez Diaz Father Mario Diaz siblings Cristian Diaz, Emily Gaytan and by her grandmother Emma Diaz.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather Oscar Diaz and uncles Sergio and Jose Zorilla.
