Sandra Foote

Sandra Kay Foote, age 66, of Odessa, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September, 1, 2021. She was born April 12, 1955 in Ballinger, Texas of Emma and Raymond Watson. She married Kenneth Wayne Foote in Odessa, Texas on April 4, 2003 where they lived until the time of their death.

Church was an important part of her life. As was family, friends, shopping, decorating her home and dancing to country western music with her husband.

Kay is survived by her older sister Joyce Dalton of Coleman; two sons, Michael Barkemeyer of Coleman and Gregory Barkemeyer and wife Megan of Sobieski, Wisconsin; her daughter, Letitia Palmer of Odessa; her step son Eric Foote and wife Charice of Eatonton, Georgia; her step daughter, Cassie Lee and husband Clint of Odessa; ten grandchildren, Cassandra Powell, Joshua Barkemeyer, Zachary Barkemeyer, Ashlee Wells, Kasen Palmer, London Palmer, Justin Barkemeyer, Alana Barkemeyer, Tyler Foote, Christian King; and two great grandchildren, Jasper Powell and Jamie Powell.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Emma Watson and her step son, Toby Foote.

Visitation will be at Hope Alive Church on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 1pm to 9pm. Hope Alive Church is having a service at 10 am on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Burial services will follow at Leaday Cemetery in Coleman, Texas and arrangements were made by the Martinez Funeral Home. All memorials can be made to Hope Alive Church, 1040 S. Dixie Blvd. Odessa, TX 79762
