Roberto G. Garay

Robert Garay (Rob) 64, of Odessa, Tx passed away Friday July 2, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born in Artesia, NM on November 7, 1956 to Manuel & Eva Garay. Robert worked as a carpet layer for over 35 years serving the Permian Basin. Robert loved his family. He loved being at home, at the Ranchito, where he grew up listening to Tejano music, dancing & cruising around with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. He cared for anybody that came around. He was a selfless man & was always open to help with what he had to give. He also had a laid back side watching TV, wearing his sweatpants & sandals no matter the weather. Robert was not a religious man but had decided to give his life to Christ on February 28, 2021.
