Robert "Bob" Kasper

Odessa, Texas

Bob was born in Escondido, CA to Richard and Betty Kasper on August 2nd, 1949.

He went to school where he grew up in Newton, KS.

He married Kathy Gregg on January 2, 1982 In Odessa, TX. They were married for 39 years.

Bob worked as a diesel mechanic for most of his working life before retiring from U.P.T. in 2010.

Bob is a Vietnam Veteran and served in the Navy from 1969-71.

Bob was involved and Volunteered in the West Odessa Volunteer Fire Department in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. He was an active member in the American Legion.

Bob coached his son’s little league baseball team. He loved to attend all the grandkids events, football, baseball, soccer, and volleyball games.

He was an avid Fisherman. He spent a many of days on the banks of the lakes & river’s trying to catch the “big one”! he was always ready to “wet a hook”.

Bob was proceeded in death by his parents Richard Kasper, and Betty Koehn, his older sister Carolyn Kasper.

Bob is survived by his wife Kathy, Daughter Samantha, and her husband Cody Hughes.

Son Wayne, and his wife Candice Kasper.

Brother’s Allen “Buddy” Kasper, Rick Kasper, Randy Kasper and his wife Nancy, and Larry Kasper. His sister’s Nancy, & Debbie Kasper all from Kansas.

Grandchildren- Hunter Hughes, Colton Kasper, Gunner Kasper, Maddison Zamora, Payton “PJ” Grant, & Neveah Miles of Odessa.

His in-laws, Bill Gregg (pawpaw), Patricia Redman (Nanny) of Eastland, TX. Brother in laws Bob Gregg of Eastland, TX, Bill Gregg, and his wife Karen from Breckinridge, TX.

Nephews Cody Gregg & his wife Allyssa, Clay Gregg & his wife Ashton, all from Eastland, TX. Nieces Maci Romaine & her husband James of Fort Worth, TX, Kristy Brunk of Newton, KS. And other nieces and nephews.

And numerous great nieces, and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Permian basin Honor Flight, and the American Legion, Earl S. Baily Post #430 in Odessa, TX
