On September 11, 2020 Reynalda “Reyna” Serrano Flores, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, left this earth and entered eternal rest at the age of 70.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Thursday September 17, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Home and Friday at 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM  at Hope Alive Church on 305 E. 19th St, Odessa Texas

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday September 18, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Hope Alive Church in Odessa, Texas with Pastor Gabriel Chavez Officiating.

Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery, Odessa II Section.

Reynalda “Reyna” Serrano Flores was born on October 31, 1949 in Juan al Dama Zacatecas Mexico to Pedro Rangel Serrano and Maria Guadalupe Chavez de Serrano. She came to the United States at the age of 15 to make a better life for herself. Where she then met her soon to be husband and the love of her life, Manuel B. Flores. Who she then married in 1968, at the age of 18. They proceeded to have a family and raised six loving children.

Reyna loved God, and was a patient, kind, loving woman. She attended Word of God Ministries, where she praised and worshipped. She was a prayer warrior and constant seeker for the presence of God. She enjoyed reading, the Bible, as well as Christian books. She love and found comfort and joy knowing and seeing her children serve the Lord. She left a legacy of prayer warriors. She loved spending time with her family at gatherings, parties, holidays, and seeing everyone united as a family. She also loved being able to spend the day shopping with her daughters, buying shoes and perfumes. Reyna was a surprising jokester with a light and funny humor. She was also an honest confidant you wanted in your corner. She had a Green thumb with a beautiful garden full of plants and flowers. As a grandmother, she enjoyed every precious moment with her grandchildren, which were filled with joy, laughs, love and memories.

Reyna was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Pedro and Maria Serrano; three siblings.

She is survived by her husband, Manuel and her six children, Lisa Flores Sertuche, Joel Serrano Flores, Fernando Serrano Flores, Veronica Flores Hernandez, Edith Flores Luna and Cristy Flores Soli, and twenty one grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and seven siblings, Maria Trevino, Tuty Serrano, Carlos Serrano, Jaime Serrano, Francis Marquez, Rosa Pinedo, Lupe Serrano Chavez de Juarez.

Arrangements are Entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home of Odessa, Texas.
