Beloved Luz Esther Rodriguez, 73, passed away peacefully the morning of December 27th while surrounded by her family. She was born to Ricardo Rodriguez and Cayetana Lozano on May 31st, 1948, in Madera, Chihuahua. She lived a fulfilling life as a mother, sister, tía, prima, and nana. Her eloquent smile and her warm love will not be forgotten.
Luz Esther is preceded in death by her parents Cayetana and Ricardo Rodriguez, her sisters Refugio (Cuquis) Rodriguez and Sara Rodriguez.
Luz Esther Rodriguez is survived by her daughters Araceli Urias, Edith Urias, and her son Luis Tapia and his wife Madison Tapia. Her sisters Ana Rodriguez de Loera, Maria Elena R. Prieto, Manuela Jaquez, Emma Rodriguez de Duran, and Martha Arenivas. Her grandchildren Joe Andrew Alvarado, Justin Alvarado, Jason Alvarado, Amberli Chavez, Joseph Chavez, Christopher Tapia, and Charlotte Tapia. And her great-grandchildren Joe Andrew Alvarado Junior, Kari Alvarado, Jusiah Alvarado, and Justice Alvarado.
A prayer service will take place on Sunday January 2nd at 5pm. Visitation will be on Sunday January 2nd from 1pm to 9pm and Monday from 9am to 1pm at Martinez Funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on January 3rd at Martinez Funeral Home with Carlos Torres officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset memorial gardens.
Pallbearers will be Luis Tapia, Joe Alvarado, Justin Alvarado, Jason Alvarado, Amberli Chavez, and Joseph Chavez.
The family of Luz Esther wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Amberli Chavez, Dr. Abijay, hospice, and Medical Center Hospital.
La Sra. Luz Esther Rodríguez, de 73 años, falleció tranquilamente en la mañana del 27 de Diciembre mientras estaba rodeada de su familia. Sus padres son Ricardo Rodríguez y Cayetana Lozano el 31 de Mayo del 1948 en Madera, Chihuahua. Vivió una vida plena como madre, hermana, tía, prima y nana. Su elocuente sonrisa y su cálido amor no serán olvidados.
A Luz Esther le anteceden en la muerte sus padres Cayetana y Ricardo Rodríguez, sus hermanas Refugio (Cuquis) Rodríguez y Sara Rodríguez.
A Luz Esther Rodríguez le sobreviven sus hijas Araceli Urias, Edith Urias y su hijo Luis Tapia y su esposa Madison Tapia. Sus hermanas Ana Rodríguez de Loera, María Elena R. Prieto, Manuela Jaquez, Emma Rodríguez de Duran y Martha Arenivas. Sus nietos Joe Andrew Alvarado, Justin Alvarado, Jason Alvarado, Amberli Chavez, Joseph Chavez, Christopher Tapia y Charlotte Tapia. Y sus bisnietos Joe Andrew Alvarado Junior, Kari Alvarado, Jusiah Alvarado y Justice Alvarado.
El velorio será el Domingo 2 de Enero de 1:00pm a 9:00pm y el lunes de 9:00am a 1:00pm en la Funeraria Martinez.Los servicios funevres se llevarán a cabo a la 1:00 pm el 3 de enero en la Funeraria Martinez con Carlos Torres oficiando. Seguirá el entierro en los jardines conmemorativos de Sunset.
Los portadores del ataud serán Luis Tapia, Joe Alvarado, Justin Alvarado, Jason Alvarado, Amberli Chavez, y Joseph Chavez.
