Luis Roque

Luis Rodolfo Roque, of San Antonio Texas, passed away on September 17th 2021 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be Thursday September 30th from 10 am until 9pm at Martinez Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7pm on September 30th, 2021 at Martinez Funeral Home

Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday October 1, 2021 at Holy Redeemer with Father Fernando of Holy Redeemer. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home.

Luis Rodolfo Roque was born in San Antonio to Leticia Marquez and Jose Luis Roque Sr. on August 13th, 1972. He was raised by Jaime Marquez and Leticia Marquez. He was married to Liz Favela on May 5th, 2017. He worked as a welder in the oilfield for 27 years. He enjoyed cooking, singing, being close to any type of water and spending time with his family. He owned a food truck called El Chapo this past year.

Luis is preceded in death by Paternal grandmother Lupita Marquez, tia Rosa Marquez and cousin Jason Guerra.

Luis is survived by wife Liz Favela, sons Anthony Roque, Louie Roque, Daughter Isabella Roque Favela, Step-Son Arturo Cervantes. Brothers Mauricio Roque, Edward Roque, Edgar Roque, Jose Roque and Chris Marquez. Sisters Angelita Roque, Priscilla Roque, Crystal Roque and Esmeralda Marquez. Parents Jaime Marquez and Leticia Marquez. Grandchildren Jayven Roque Adric Roque, Aviana Roque, Kambree Roque Zaylen Roque, Liam Roque and Leilani Roque. Paternal grandfather Beto Marquez maternal grandmother Juanita Colunga (Maye). Maternal uncle Victor Guerra. Paternal uncle Gilberto, Ramiro and Ricardo Marquez, aunts Maria, Dora and Tere Marquez.

Pallbearers will be Mauricio Roque, Edward Roque, Edgar Roque, Chris Marquez, Anthony Roque, Louie Roque, Arturo Cervantes and Edgar Roque Jr.
