Kenneth Wayne Foote, 73 of Odessa, Texas went home to his Lord and Savior Friday, August 27, 2021. He was born in 1948, in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Lee and Lucy Foote. In 1954 the family moved to Odessa and Kenneth attended Odessa High school. Joining the Army in 1968, he was honorably discharged in 1970 as a SP4 Veteran, having received a National Defense Medal, Drivers Badge, and a Sharpshooter Badge. Kenneth worked for Pradon Construction and Trucking for 34 years. He married the love of his life Sandra Kay Foote on April 4, 2003, in Odessa, Texas where they spent the rest of their lives together.

Kenneth devoted his life to the Lord and loved his family dearly. One of his favorite enjoyments in life was dancing with his beloved wife and sweetheart Kay. Kenneth was an active member of the West Texas Street Rod Association and had a passion for building and restoring old classic cars. He is loved and missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by son Eric Foote and wife Charise of Eatonton, Georgia, daughter Cassie Lee and husband Clint of Odessa, Texas, stepson Michael Barkemeyer of Coleman, Texas, stepson Gregory Barkemeyer and wife Megan of Sobieski, Wisconsin, stepdaughter Letitia Palmer of Odessa, Texas, and stepdaughter Jackie White and husband Travis of Odessa, Texas, sister Nona Sides, sister Elaine Daindridge, and brother Keith Foote; thirteen grandchildren, Tyler Foote, Cassandra Powell, Joshua Barkemeyer, Zachary Barkemeyer, Justin Barkemeyer, Alana Barkemeyer, Ashlee Wells, Kason Palmer, London Palmer, Christian King, Aaron White, Greggory White, McKinzee White; and two great grandchildren, Jasper and Jamey Powell. He is preceded in death by his son Toby Wayne Foote, sister Renee Perhot, and mother Lucy Hammons.

Public visitation will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 1pm to 9pm at Hope Alive Church and the service on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 10 am also at Hope Alive Church, burial services will follow at Leaday Cemetery in Coleman County, Texas. Arrangements were made by the Martinez Funeral Home and all memorials can be made to Hope Alive Church, 1040 S. Dixie Blvd. Odessa, TX 79762.
