Juan "Johnny" Galindo

Johnny Galindo, 79, of Midland, TX.  Born June 23rd, 1943 in Balmorhea, TX, passed away February 26th, 2023 at home surrounded by family.

Johnny was a father, grandfather, and dearest friend. He grew up in Pecos, TX were he played baseball and graduate from Pecos High School. He worked Telecommunication for 40+ years and also for the Pecos telephone company. Once retired he spent his time traveling and following his favorite sports football and baseball.

Johnny is survived by his two sons Jimmy Galindo and his wife Michelle, and three grandchildren. His son Joe Galindo and his wife Nora and his grandson. Survived by his wife Lydia. Survived by his siblings Mary Nunez, Sabina Natividad, brother Tori Galindo and wife Ortencia. And numerous nieces and nephews, especially beloved Delma and Pascual Sanchez.

Johnny is preceded in death by his mother Selsa and father Anastacio Galindo, brother Tomas Galindo, and sister Rosa Jacquez.

Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1st from 1pm with a rosary to follow at 7pm. We invite you to join the family at Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory located at 1040 S. Dixie Blvd. Odessa, TX 79761. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas and burial will follow in Balmorhea, Tx.

Pallbearers are Pascual Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Joey Natividad, Alvaro Natividad, Francisco Baeza, and Matthew Nunez.

Our sincerest gratitude towards Pascual and Delma Sanchez, for opening up your home, for all your care, and love for our missed Johnny.
