Gene ‘Geno’ Gamble entered eternal rest on Wednesday January 12, 2022, in Midland, Tx.
“Sleep on now and take your rest. We all loved you, but God loved you best. God giveth and God taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord.”
The family of Gene ‘Geno ‘Gamble will celebrate his life with a Graveside service set for1:00pm Friday January 21, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Darrin Willis officiating.
Gene Gamble 82 was born May 28, 1939, in Hubbard, Texas to William and Georgia S. Gamble. Geno early education began in Hubbard continuing through the 12th grade. He married Ida Skinner in Holy matrimony in Odessa, Tx. He was employed in the field of cement masonry, then later worked with Shell Oil Company. He also did landscape as a hobby until his death failed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Geno leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ida Gamble, of Odessa, 12 brothers and sisters, Raymond Gamble (Gail) of Nevada, Ada Gamble Clark of Hewitt, Clarissa Gamble of Hockley, Tx., Doris Price of Bryan, Tx., Marva Lynn of Coppers Cove, Tx., Jo Ann Gamble of Renton, Wa., William Gamble (Diane) of Waco, Tx., Jimmy Gamble of Nevada, Donnie Gamble (Madeline) of Dallas, Tx., Ronnie Gamble of Waco, Tx., Janice Richards (Ray) of Ohio, stepdaughter Elaine and stepsons Marcus and Erskine. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and all who will miss him Dearly.
