Eugene "Geno" Apodaca

Eugene ‘Geno” Apodaca of Odessa, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the age of 56.

He was born September 23, 1966 in Albuquerque, NM to Antonio Jose Apodaca and Priscilla Apodaca. He married Theresa “Terry” Rodriguez on December 18th, 2001 and they had two children from this union.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023 for Immediate Family 10:00am – 1:00pm and Public Visitation 1:00pm -9pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel in Odessa, Texas.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 7:00pm.

Church Service will be celebrated Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 at 10:00am at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel in Odessa Texas by Fr. Joe Uecker.

Geno’s favorite hobbies were: fishing and watching his favorite college Texas Tech football team.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Theresa “Terry” Rodriguez, father: Antonio Jose Apodaca, sister: Mary Jane Renteria, brothers: Tony Apodaca Jr. and Mike Apodaca.

Eugene is survived by his mother: Priscilla Apodaca of Odessa, children: Noah Apodaca of Levelland, Clara Apodaca of Levelland, Abel Apodaca and wife Diana of Odessa. Stepchildren: Maria Nunez, Tony Porras, Servando Porras, Raphael Rangel. Brothers: Chris Apodaca Sr. (Valerie) of Odessa, David Chavez (Maria) of Los Lunas, NM. Sisters: Jackie Apodaca of Odessa, Darlene Pineda (Tony) of Odessa, Brenda Esparza (Adrian) of Odessa, Vanessa Balderama (Roberto Sr.) of Odessa, Grandchildren: Anahi Apodaca, Adriel Apodaca and 13 Step Grandchildren.
