Elias Hernandez

Elias T. Hernandez, 21 of Odessa, gained his angel wings on December 16, 2019. He was born on July 11, 1998 in Odessa to Roy Hernandez and Yolanda Orona. He was a proud 2016 graduate of Permian High School.

Elias life was short, but he had made an amazing decision to become an organ donor. This heroic choice proved to be life changing and allowed many people to receive the gift of life this holiday season. He was a proud father who cherished his time with family and the twinkle of his eye, RaeAnna. Elias was a die-hard New York Yankees fan and you would often see him and his children wearing matching Yankees gear.

He is survived by his daughter, Irie Jane Hernandez; his son Kashton Hernandez; the mother of his children RaeAnna Vargas; his father and step-mother, Roy and Sharon Hernandez; his mother Yolanda Orona; sisters Briana Hernandez and Sofia Hernandez; brother Jarron Hernandez and wife Raven; step-brothers, Romeo Rodriguez and wife Ella and Avery Rodriguez; maternal grandmother Maria Luisa Martinez; uncles Manuel Hernandez and wife Sandra; Oscar Hernandez and wife Silvia; Bobby Hernandez and wife Yolanda; Trey Martinez and wife Nori; Ruben Martinez and wife Mariana; Lorenzo Orona and Priscilla, and Elijio Orona; aunts Terry Martinez, Leticia Armendariz and husband Alberto, and Elizabeth Madrid and Leo Castillo. He is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jautoria “Buddah” Mosby, Jarron Martinez, Jarron Hernandez, Matt Martinez, Isaiah Martinez, Avery Rodriguez, Manny Hernandez, Fernando Fern Solis, Esteban “Bans” Juarez and Julius Gomez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kaston Hernandez.
