Concepcion Jimenez

Our beloved father, Concepcion P. Jimenez, 88, was called home to our Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2021 in Zephyr, Texas.

Visitation for Concepcion will be held 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary scheduled for 7:00 PM.  Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 12, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with burial to follow at Ector County Cemetery, Odessa II section.

Chon was born in Marfa, Texas to Francisco and Maria Placentillo Jimenez on December 8, 1932.

Chon always worked hard to provide for his family.  He will always be remembered by watching football, barbecuing/cooking (tortillas), and must not forget, a good ole beer to go with it all.  He also enjoyed taking a cruise in the evenings listening to music.

He is preceded in death by two daughters, Doris Olgin and Judy Bustamante.

He is survived by his children, Rosalinda Morales, Deanna Orona, George Galindo, Concepcion Jimenez, Jr, Donny Bonilla, Delfina Sanchez (husband, Alfredo), Wanda Warner (husband, Jeffrey); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Warner, Jerry Ruiz, Jeremy Flores, John Rene Orona, Jacob Jimenez, and Marcus Olgin.
