Cipriano Madril

We are sadden to announce the passing of Cipriano Ricardo Madril 46 of Roswell, New Mexico, he passed away on April 6, 2023 in Odessa Texas.

Visitation will be 10:00AM to 9:00PM Thursday April 13, 2023  with a Service of Remebrance at 7 pm.

Celebration Of Life will be held at 10:00AM Friday April 14, 2023 at Martinez Funeral Home Outside Chapel. Arrangements are made by Martinez Funeral Home. Family has requested cremation as the alternative means of burial.

Chico Madril was born in Roswell, New Mexico to Estela Madril on August 6, 1976. He graduated from Roswell High.

He worked as a floorhand for Viva Well Service.

Chico met his wife Yvonne Montez in 1996 in Roswell while they were still in high school and have been inseparable for 28 years. They moved to Odessa, Texas in 1998 where they raised their children, Chelsea, Eathen, and Morgan he was a wonderful father and was always there for his children. Chico had six grand children that he adore with all his heart he loved to just be outside with them to play and ride bikes. He also enjoyed attending Football games and Cheer events. Chico is known for the “life lessons” he would teach his children and especially his grandchildren. Anyone that knew him knew the love he had for low riders. That was his passion so that he could leave something for them. He also had a love for cooking. Any chance he had he showed it by cooking for his family and friends. He also showed his children and grandchildren how to cook.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Yesmael and Mary Andazola, Grandparents Edwardo Sr. and Ines Chavez, Freddie Chavez, Edward Jr. Chavez, Ruben Chavez, Felipe Chavez and Tony Madril.

Chico is survived by his wife Yvonne Montez,  son, Eathen Madril, daughter Chelsea and her husband Daniel Veloz and daughter Morgan and her husband Thomas Orona. His brothers Lorenzo Madril, Ignacio Madril, Katrina Madril and husband Joe, Corina and husband Bobby and sister Serena Madril. His mother Estella Madril. His beloved grandchildren whom he adored Jessie and Jesslyn Sanchez, Jace and Bentley Veloz, Greyson and Gianni Orona. Numerous nieces and nephews that he adored, Larissa & family, Toy & family, Lou & family, Damaris, Frankie, Freddie, Jeremiah, Carmen, Reynaldo, MariCruz & family, Jesse & family, Sabelle & family, Savanah & family, Sheyanna, Josiah, and Jayven.

The Madril family would like to thank everyone who reached out. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers, food, flowers and the visitations.
