Angel Hernandez

Angel Hernandez Galindo, 74, of Odessa, Texas sadly left this earth on Sunday, July 11, 2021.

Visitation for Angel will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Home Chapel A.  Mass will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 15, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery, Odessa II Section.

Angel was born to Manuel Hernandez and Elifonsa Galindo on February 25, 1947, in Alamos de San Antonio, Mexico.

He enjoyed being an agriculturist and providing for his family.  His pride and joy came from spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  As well as he loved spending time with them, he also enjoyed hanging out with everyone else in the family and traveling.  He will be missed intensely!!!

Angel is preceded in death by his wife, Maria de Jesus Hernandez; his parents, Manuel Hernandez and Elifonsa Galindo; sons, Jose Angel Hernandez, and Carlos Hector Hernandez; daughter, Julia Aracely Hernandez; brothers, Reyes Hernandez and Melucho Hernandez; sisters, Elva Hernandez, Lupe Hernandez, Luz Elena Hernandez.

Angel is survived by his son, Omar Hernandez and wife, Daniela; daughters, Emilia Canales and husband, Marco, and Lorena Chavez and husband, Raydesel; brothers, Ezequiel Hernandez, Armando Hernandez, and Isidro Hernandez; sister, Gloria Hernandez; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers are as follows:  Marcos Canales, Reydesel Chavez, Rogelio Lujan, Ramon Pina, Rey Chavez Jr., and Jesus Manuel Chavez.
