Alicia Barrientos De La Rosa, 88 Years old of Ojinaga Chihuahua passed away on February 16, 2023 at her residence.

Public Visitation will be held at Martinez Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 9:00AM - 9:00PM with a Rosary at 7:00PM.

Chapel Service will be held at Martinez Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 10:00AM

Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery ~ Rosehill Section

Alicia Barrientos De La Rosa was born in Ojinaga Chihuahua to Jose Angel Barrientos Orozco y Maria Del Refugio Machado Valdez on April 18, 1934. She met the love of her life Felipe R. De La Rosa in Ojinaga. They got married on February 28, 1952, They moved to Odessa in 1974. She was a housewife that loved to cook and take care of her grandkids. Her passion was sewing, gardening and dancing. She loved animals, especially her bird Pancho. But most of all she was the life of the party that brought our family together.

Alicia is preceded in death by her Parents;  Jose Angel Barrientos Orozco y Maria Del Refugio Machado Valdez, Husband; Felipe R. De La Rosa, Son; Fausto De La Rosa and Brothers; Esteban Barrientos and Alejandro Barrientos.

Alicia is survived by Sons; Reyes De La Rosa and Wife Maria Lourdes of Odessa, Ignacio De La Rosa and Wife Rosa Martha of Odessa, Daughters; Irma Rodriguez and Husband Jamie of Odessa, Laura Olveda and Husband Salvador of Odessa. Brothers; Arturo Barrientos of Ojinaga Chihuahua, Jose Barrientos of Odessa. 12 Grandchildren; Gabriela Sanchez, Fausto Antonio Rodriguez, Karla Anaya, Samuel Rodriguez, Alicia De La Rosa, Marissa Gavaldon, Cindy De La Rosa, Jesse Garcia, Juan Daniel De La Rosa, Yanine De La Rosa, Jannette Rodriguez, Vanessa Garcia, 26 Great-Grandchildren and 6 Great Great-Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Garcia, Julian Munoz, Tony Rodriguez, Sammy Rodriguez, Isaac Rodriguez, Juan Daniel De La Rosa, Isaiah Rodriguez, and Juan Ortiz.

Honorary Pallbearers; Xavien Galindo, Jonah Garcia, and Jesse Garcia.
