Vic Damone Blacknall

Vic Damone Blacknall of Odessa, Texas, at his home surrounded by family members here in Odessa was called to his heavenly home peacefully on April 15, 2024, at the age of 68. Vic was born on August 30, 1955, in Odessa, Texas to Louise Jernigan Blacknall and Ben Gene Blacknall. He was the only son born into this union. 

He attended school in Odessa, Texas. Vic was such a loving and adorable man. He would always call his family and friends to check on how they were doing. He loved listening to music, playing cards, dominoes, and shooting pool until his health started to decline. Back in the days they would call him and 4 other guys (Darnell, Vic, Alvin, Donald and Jimmy) the Run Away 5.

Vic is preceded in death by his parents: Louise Blacknall, Ben Blacknall; sister: Sharon K. Jernigan; stepsisters: Jeanette Wofford and Gloria J. Shaw; and stepbrother: Emmett J. Emerson, Sr. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife: Alicia Bergen Blacknall; stepmother: Ethel Blacknall; son: Breion (TaRhonda) Green, Houston, TX: daughters: CaShona (Joseph) Null, Beaumont, TX; Shatiya Jenkins and Atashaqua Stephens, Odessa, TX; stepdaughters: ShaWuana (Edward) May, Portland, TX and Helen (Jason) Clacks, Plano, TX; sisters: Helen Hammond, Vina Morris, VenDora (Dwayne) Scott all of Odessa, TX; stepsister: Ilona Salter, Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Brieon Green II, Taevreon Green, Taron James Milligan, Zhykia Haynes, Zhynon Haynes, Kamia Jones, Durquavanesha Ellis, Jer'Nryiea Williams, ChyDez Webb, Ashley Ward, John Hadley; step grandchildren: Alazandria May, Izaiah May, Jah'Kiea Clack, Al'Valenia Scott; great grandchildren: K'myah Green and Samarian Baldon; several nieces, nephews (in which he was crazy about), cousins, a host of friends; the last member of the Run Away 5 Darnell Griffin;  and a special and true godson: Rory Couch. 

 You will be forever loved and missed.
