Tyshone Monique Henderson

May 13, 1972 — February 27, 2024

Tyshone Monique Henderson was born to Eddie and Rose Mandson, on May 13, 1972. She attended Nimitz Jr. High School, studied Cosmetology at Aladdin Beauty college.

She was best known for being a breakdancing sensation, track star and Golden Gloves boxer. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir. It gave her great joy to work as a nurse's aide and as a private care provider for many families.

Through her street ministry and her faith in the Lord carried her day by day. She knew o limits, nor did she fold easily under pressure. To know Monique was to know she enjoyed life to the fullest. Indeed, she stood resilient in the face of adversity.

She went by many titles, mother, aunty, cousin, daughter, OG and friend. Monique had only one sister, LaMette. Mo and Mette, two peas in a pod. "till death do us part" was not just words, it was actions! When these sisters stood shoulder to shoulder it was best to stand with them than against them.

"Mo" was a hustler and a go-getter. Providing, protecting, and professing her love for her children was an understatement. She is now a guardian angel of her husband Keith Evens, three beautiful children: Jerrick, Jacorsha and Revocay. Her dear sister Sherri, two loving nieces, Tyshay and Tyriece and one loving nephew Tyrone. She kept close to her heart her grandchildren: DeAsia Mackey, Aniysha Tinner, Sa Miya Lopez, Elisha Johnson, Kaidyen & Joshiah Fox, Jakiya Shorter, Mamiya Henderson, Laya, Larae and Luci Haynes. She also adored her great nieces and nephews:

Keevon, Siniya, Mikylee, Amber, Tyson, Tyrik, Cedrick, Prince, Princess and Taviyah, and a host of family and friends.
