Sylvia was known for her selfless spirit and her ability to always place the needs of others before her own. Her kindness, strength, and devotion to those she loved left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Sylvia also had a heart that loved deeply and faithfully. She was fiercely protective of her family and friends and was always available to listen, comfort, or simply be present in someone’s time of need. Whether offering advice, encouragement, or quiet companionship, she had a special gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved.

She found great joy in nature and cherished being outdoors, admiring the beauty of God’s creation. Sylvia embraced life with enthusiasm and wonder, living each day with a free spirit and a personality larger than life. Her vibrant energy and joyful outlook brought light into every room she entered. More than anything, Sylvia adored her beloved dog, Daisy, who brought her immense comfort and happiness throughout the years.

She is survived by her loving mother, Emma Diaz; her siblings, Mario Diaz, Denise Avelar, Javier Diaz, Brenda Diaz, Elizabeth Sian, Oscar Diaz, and Alma Zorrilla; along with many extended family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Zorrilla Sr, and her brothers, Jose Zorrilla Jr. and Sergio Zorrilla.

Sylvia Zorrilla will be remembered for her beautiful heart, unwavering loyalty, fearless love for her family, and the warmth and compassion she shared so freely with others. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
