Sophie Della Rollie 86, of Odessa, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in Odessa.

Visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2023 at Bethlehem Baptist Church from 12:00PM - 12:45PM. Funeral Service will be Friday, August 11, 2023 at Bethlehem Baptist Church at 1:00PM with Rev. Darren Willis Officiating and Apostle Dr. Donnie R. Rollie - Eulogist. Arrangements are entrusted by Martinez Funeral Home. 

Sophie Rollie was born in Dale County Texas to Louis and Aria Montgomery on September 4, 1936. She attended Lincoln High School in Thrall, Texas. She met Manuel Rollie Jr. and they married on September 18, 1954 in Taylor, Texas. To their union they shared 9 children. 

Sophia worked for many years at Murphy and Rochester before retiring and becoming a homemaker. During her off time she worked at the Odessa Mission for over 20 years. She loved watching western and scratching lottery tickets. 

She leaves to cherish her memory Sons; Garrett (Brenda) Rollie, Lowrance (Jennifer) Rollie, Archie Rollie, Johnny Rollie, Donnie (Cassandra) Rollie. Daughters; Nita (Dennis) Dechant, Esterine Stevenson, Melanie Bailey. 25 grandchildren , 49 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild. 1 Sister; Adell Anderson of Thrall, Texas.
