Rose Marie Lopez
(June 13th 1957 – September 11th 2021)
Rose Marie Lopez at her young age of 64 was called home to our Lord on September 11th due to a hard fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
She is now re-united with her beloved husband and family in Heaven!!!
Rose was born in Monahans, Tx to Maria Yglesias and Santos Gonzales I on June 13th, 1957. She married Miguel Lopez on December 1st, 1973. She graduated from Ysleta High School. She had a very loving and giving heart. She dedicated her life to her Family, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Not only was she a loving person, but she was also very firm and blunt. She always said what was on her mind. She was an excellent cook. With her being the loving mother she was, she was also a great wife who made sure her husband was well taken care of. One thing she enjoyed was her TV shows and soap operas. Some of her favorites ranged from Gray’s Anatomy, NCIS, General Hospital, Andy Griffith, Different Strokes, and many more. She dedicated her heart and soul to the Lord our Savior. Rose was a Warrior and a Fighter who made sure that she was the Boss (we called her the Warden), who never put up with anybody’s excuses. She was an Amazing Person who will dearly be missed for who she was and what she had to offer to her friends and family!!!
Rose is preceded in death by Santos “Buster” Gonzales I (father), Maria Gonzalez (mother), Velia McClure (sister), Santos “June” Gonzales II (brother), two nephews (Anthony Gonzales and Santos “Pendele” Lorenzo Gonzales III).
Rose is survived by two sons (Gabriel Lopez and Miguel Lopez Jr), three grandchildren (Kryselda Gonzalez, Gabriel Lopez Jr, and Cyrrie Lopez), two nephews ( Eugene and Eric McClure), one niece (Elizabeth Villareal), three step-grandchildren (Keilah Udave, Caiden Golden, and Kyla Golden), and one great grandchild (Jocelyn Lopez)
“There are no goodbyes. Where ever you’ll be, you’ll be in our Hearts. As you close your eyes and rest, may all your pain and troubles be gone forever.
May you find paradise and a world of eternal life.”
May your soul rest in Peace!
Amen!
