Richard Michael Vela, 32, of El Paso, TX, passed away on April 8, 2024 in Odessa, TX.

Visitation will be from 10:00am - 5:00pm CST, April 12, 2024 at Martinez Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home

Richard was born in El Paso, TX. to Richard M Vela and Ana V Vela on January 22, 1992. He graduated from Del Valle High School. He married Tanya Lerma on January 29, 2018. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for No Bull Services for 5 years. 

Richard is preceded in death by father- Richard M Vela and grandfather- Hipolito Vela.

Richard is survived by wife- Tanya Vela: Children- Aidenn Vela, Sarah Vela, Sophia Vela, Aneli Vela and Aria Vela: brothers- Jonathan Vela, Victor Vela and Mauricio (Jr.) Madrid: sisters- Annaliza Vela, Jesica Buenrostro and Jeanessa Vela: Mother- Ana Veli Vela.
