Ramon Bustos, age 74, Passed away on April 22,2025 in Odessa, TX.
Ramon was born in Midland, TX. To his loving parents Sigifredo and Selestina Bustos. He went to school at Ector Hight School. He married his beautiful and caring wife of 46 years Mary Luisa Molinar, Bustos April 22, 1989. They spent the next 46 years loving and caring for each other, making memories that will never be forgotten by many. He worked for Phillips 66 for 21 years as a Crew Chief Leader in the oil and gas industry. After retiring he followed his carrier journey entering the school district as a Lead Custodian for 17 years at the ECISD. He was a member of multiple base organizations such the El Dorados, Orioles, and the Colt 45’s.
Where he carried the Bustos Family traditional love, Passion, and dedication behind the game of baseball. From hanging his cleats, to picking up his clipboard and serving as a role model, coach and mentor to his children, grandchildren, and even great grandchildren, his obsession with the game never seemed to fade. If there was ever a time when you couldn’t find him on the diamonds, you were assured to find him on the greens. Mr. Bustos was a huge fan of golf whether it was sitting at home watching the pros or out on the golf course tearing up the greens. No matter if he had a baseball bat or golf club in his hands, you were guaranteed Ramon from over a mile a while as he tended to cheer on his swings with an extreme amount of energy.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents Sigifredo Bustos Se. and Selestina Bustos, Brothers Andres Bustos, Gustavo Tijerina, Mike Ramirez.
Ramon is survived by his loving wife Mary Bustos children Lisa A Fierro, Ramon “Boy” Bustos Jr. and Josie Bustos, Julie Reschman and Fernando Reschman, Paul Ray and Martha Trujillo, Robert and Ana Bustos, Mark Anthony Ray Trujillo and Cavalie Salcido. Brothers and sisters: Sigifredo Bustos Jr, Leonel Bustos, Virginia Tijerina, Mercy Aguilar, Isabell Ruiz, Gracie Guerrero, Andrea Perales. 23 Grand children and 23 Great Grand Children.
A Rosary will be held at 9:00AM Friday May 2, 2025 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with a Mass at 10:00AM. Inurnment will follow at Ector County Cemetery.
