Rafaela Rodriguez Marquez, 76 of Pecos, TX passed away on June 26, 2026 in Odessa, TX.

Rafaela Rodriguez Marquez was born in Pecos, TX to Vicente and Manuela Rodriguez on March 4, 1950. She married Javier Marquez on September 6, 1969 in Colonia El Pueblito, Villa Aldama, Chihuahua. She was a housewife and a devoted Catholic. She loved to cook and bake. Her passion was to hear her husband sing to her and watch him perform.

Rafaela is preceded in death by her Father Vicente Rodriguez, her Mother Manuela Rodriguez, her Daughter Nora Estela Marquez, her Sister Enoelia Rodriguez, and her Brothers Jesus Ramirez and Carlitos Ramirez.

Rafaela is survived by her Spouse Javier Marquez, her Children Hilda (Chito) Marquez, Diana (Martin) Gutierrez, Brenda (Julian) Alvarez, and Freddie (Lidia) Marquez, and her brothers Mnauel Rodriguez and Jorge Fernando Rodriguez. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jasmine Marquez Torres, Luis A. Marquez, Jackelyne Marquez, Javier “Harvey” Marquez, Robbie Marquez, Gato Alvarez, Miguel Torres, Anisa White, Xandrea Sanchez, Adrian Marquez, Xavier Alvarez, Lauren Marquez, Janelle Alvarez, and Christian Marquez along with 25 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00am to 9:00pm on Wednesday July 1, 2026 with Rosary at 7:00pm at Martinez Funeral Home Inside Chapel. A Celebrated Mass  will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 10:00am on Thursday July 2, 2026  with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens at The Monument Garden

Pallbearers will be Luis Marquez, Javier Marquez, Robbie Marquez, Gato Alvarez, Miguel Torres, Adrian Marquez, Xavier Alvarez, and Christian Marquez.
