Pilar ‘Pilo’ Olivas, 62, of El Mangle, Coyame Del Sotol, Mexico passed away Saturday December 10, 2022, at Madison Medical Resort in Odessa Tx. Pilar Olivas was born in El Mangle, Coyame Del Sotol, Chihuahua, MX to Eduardo Olivas Y Guadalupe Romero November 6, 1960. He was a Christian Catholic and worked in the oilfield as a sandblaster.

Pilar was loved and cherished by all, he immigrated from Mexico in 1976 at the age of 16. Pilar worked at ICO Spincole coating company as a sandblaster for 20yrs. He enjoyed playing pool and loved the game of football especially the Dallas Cowboys! He loved visiting his family in Mexico. He enjoyed listen to good music. He loved being part of his grandchildren’s sport activities especially Baseball. He was the very best “TIO” that anyone could ask for. He loved taking care of his lawn and trees and home. Hobbies included fixing things, he looked forward to picking up his grandchildren from school. His most accomplished goal was becoming an American Citizen on May 9, 2018. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Pilar Olivas is preceded in death by his (Parents) Eduardo Olivas and Guadalupe Romero (Sister) Socorro Olivas Romero and (Grandson) Miguel Saenz

Pilar is survived by daughter; Nidia Olivas Ramos (Jaime Ramos) Sons; Eduardo Olivas (Nicole Olivas), Aviel Olivas (Jessica Flores), Arnol Olivas Step-son; Patricio Saenz (Janie Villanueva), Step-daughter; Nora Trevino, Brothers; Toribio Olivas, Jesus Quinonez Romero, David Quinonez Romero, Ivan Quinonez Romero, Sisters; Ofelia Olivas Romero, Anabel Quinonez Romero, Grandchildren; Tristian Ramos, Dawsonee Ramos, Eduardo Olivas Jr, Enrique Olivas, Michael Tolliver, Matthew Olivas, Marc Olivas, Benjamin Olivas, Arnol Jr Olivas, Miguel Olivas, Michael Olivas, Aliyah Saenz, Idaly Trevino, Christopher Trevino, Samantha Olivas Trevino.

Visitation is set for Wednesday December 14, 2022, from 1PM-9PM with a rosary at 7Pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Father Carlos Rodriguez will officiate a prayer service at 3PM at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel also on Wednesday December 14, 2022.

Burial will take place Friday December 16, 2022 In El Panteon del Eden in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, MX .
