Maria Y. Garcia, 87, of Odessa, Texas passed away on January 15,2024 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be Wednesday January 17, 2024 1:00PM - 9:00PM with a Rosary at 7:00PM at Martinez Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00AM Thursday January 18, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Maria Y. Garcia was born in La Paloma, Texas to Jose A. Ysasi and Refugia Balli on August 20, 1936. She married Cirilo (Cecil) M. Garcia. 

She loved playing bingo, Nintendo, Chinese checkers, dominoes, puzzles, search a word, crocheting, and sewing. She enjoyed family events/get together and loved her little dog Chiki. 

Maria is proceeded in death by her husband Cirilo (Cecil) M. Garcia, Parents Jose and Refugia Ysasi, brothers Martin Ysasi, and Willie Ysasi. Sister Delia Perez, Raquel Hillman, Grandsons Dusty Garcia, Caleb Garcia, Rodney Cobbs, Son-in-law Jimmy Mireles.

Maria is survived by Daughters Mary Lou Jensen, PollyAnn York, Ruth Mireles, Gloria (Manuel) Lopez, Sons Mike, Joe (Audri) and Cecil (Celia) Garcia Jr., Grandchildren Andy Lee Castillo, Robert Stork, Reno Cobb, Brandon C. York, Michael Scott York, Cody Lopez, Christopher Lopez, Courtney Garcia, Lorissa Mata, Cecil Garcia III and several great grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Joe Garcia, Cecil Garcia Jr., Cecil Garcia III, Manuel Lopez, Christopher Lopez, and Tommy Mireles.
