Mario Gomez

Mario F. Gomez, 57, went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2013, in Odessa, Texas.
He was born December 13, 1956 in Big Lake, Texas to Rosario Flores Gomez and Braulio M. Gomez. He married Delia G. Gomez on April 7, 1979.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church with father Chavez officiating. Interment will follow to Ector County Cemetery.

Mario is survived by his wife, Delia Gomez, daughters, Lisa Annette Gomez, Veronica Michelle Thomason and spouse Brandon Thomason and Andrea Rose Gomez. His brother Manuel Canelo Gomez of Mertzon, Texas. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Nevaeh, Nehemiah, Neridh and Nicholas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Braulio and Rosario Gomez, brothers, Abel, Oscar, Johnny and sisters, Elva, Olga, Rosario and inlaws Isabel P. Garcia and Ascension P. Garcia, and grandparents Braulio M. Gomez Sr. and Francisca Gomez and Juan and Cruz Flores.

He was a district manager for Weatherford Wireline Cased Hole Division. He loved God and his family dearly, and was a true Dallas Cowboy fan. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends
