It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lidia Torres, on June 13, 2026, at the age of 83.

Lidia was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by her love, compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication to her family. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed, loved, and supported, and her kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

She found her greatest joy in caring for her family and celebrating life's simple moments with those she loved. Her wisdom, laughter, and constant encouragement will be remembered and cherished forever.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Refugio Torres; her daughter, Rosa Calanche; her parents, Crispin Payen and Socorro Lujan; her great-granddaughter, Jesarae Carreon; and her great-grandson, Jason Carreon

Lidia is survived by her loving children: Manuela Deanda and husband Ray, Lupe Torres, Maria Rojero, Socorro Sosa and husband Carlos, and Jesse Torres and wife Rufina. She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her love and guidance.
