Maria was born in El Ranchito Municipio de Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico on August 2, 1964 to Samuel Hernandez and Ignacia Morales. She went to school in El Ranchito and married Angel Ibarra in San Juan de Urrutia, Mexico. Maria worked as a floor stocker at Ross Clothing Store.

Maria is preceded by parents Samuel Hernandez and Ignacia Hernandez.

Maria is survived by her husband Angel Ibarra, son Alex Ibarra and wife Abigail, son Manuel Ibarra and wife Miriam, daughter Karina Chavez and husband Orlando Chavez and 8 grandkids. Brothers; Manuel (Santos)Hernandez, Esmundo (Maria Teresa) Hernandez, Samuel (Anna) Hernandez, Alonso (Carmen) Hernandez, Jose Luis (Ariana) Hernandez. Sisters; Yesenia (Raul) Gonzalez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Manuel Ibarra, Alex Ibarra, Ervey Gonzalez, Ricardo Gonzalez, Ivan Hernandez and Adrian Hernandez.
