Manuel H. Sosa

Manuel Sosa 69, of Odessa, Texas passed away October 9, 2023 in Odessa Texas. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a very playful person with a huge personality. He was a very hardworking man who went above and beyond for his loved ones. 

Public Visitation inside chapel at Martinez Funeral Home Tuesday October 17, 2023 from 1pm-9pm 

Rosary will be held Tuesday October 17, 2023 7:00pm at Martinez Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 18, 2023 at 10:00am with Father Frank Chavez at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery Rosehill Section. 

Manuel was born in Odessa, Texas to Manuel P. Sosa Sr. and Grace (chita) Sosa on July 23, 1954. He married Alice Sosa on November 21, 1975 in Odessa, Texas. He worked as a Carpet Installer for South West Floors for many years. 

Manuel is preceded death by wife Alice Sosa, father Manuel P. Sosa, mother Grace Sosa, son Tommy Sosa. 

Manuel is survived by his son Joe Sosa (Trish), his daughter Jennifer Sosa, siblings Olivia Muro (Jesus) Rosie Garcia, Ricky Sosa, Celia Huerta, and Debi Sosa. Also, grandchildren, Cassandra Sosa, Brandon Sosa (Angelica), Bailey Perales, Alexie Perales (Haven), Tommy Sosa.  Following along great-grandchildren, Alicandra Torres, Bradeaux Sosa, Aubriana Torres, Brody Sosa, Zamian Torres, Ainsley Perales, Aria Perales, Axl Perales. 

Pallbearers will be Roy Calderon, Tony Galindo, Michael Calderon, Chino Calderon, Tommy Sosa, Haven Carrasco.

Honorable Pallbearers will be Ricky sosa, Bradeaux Sosa, Brody Sosa, Zamian Torres, Axl Perales.

Memorials may be given to Joe Sosa and Jennifer Sosa.
