Louie Virgil Reeder Jr.

Louie Virgil Reeder Jr. was born on June 29, 1940, in Denton County, Texas. He was a beloved husband, son, brother-in-law, and friend who led an extraordinary life. Louie passed away on August 16, 2023, in Odessa, Texas.

Louie started his professional journey as a Machinist and dedicated many years to his craft. 

In addition to his successful career, Louie served his country as a devoted soldier in the United States Army for four years. He was also a proud Vietnam Veteran. He was a life member of the VFW.

Outside of his professional and military achievements, Louie had a passion for firearms. He was not only an avid gun collector but also a talented sharpshooter. 

Louie Virgil Reeder Jr. is preceded in death by Sandra Lee Walker (Wife), Eleanor Margrette Hathaway (Mother) and Louie Virgil Reeder Sr. (Father). 

Louie leaves behind a brother-in-law James Richard "JR" Walker, who shared many close moments with him over the years. Louie is also survived by close friends Edward & Martha Atwood, they enjoyed spending time together, and sharing stories. Louie will also be remembered by his son and daughter.

Although we mourn the loss of Louie Virgil Reeder Jr., let us also celebrate the incredible life he lived. May his soul find eternal peace as we bid farewell to a remarkable man.
