Juan H. Lara Sr 74, of Pecos,Texas, passed away on December 7, 2020 in Odessa,Texas

Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday December 17th at Martinez Funeral Home The funeral services will be held at Saint Anthony’s catholic church Friday, December 18 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery arrangements are by Martinez funeral home.

Juan H. Lara Sr was born in Pecos,Texas to Reyes Lara and Sixta Hernandez on January 22, 1946. He married Lorina Luna here in Odessa,Texas. They were married for 44 yrs. He worked at City Pipe & Supply for 27 yrs.

Juan H. Lara Sr is preceded in death by his wife Lorina L Lara and sons Eddie L Lara and Ramon L Lara 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Juan H Lara Sr is survived by his son Juan L Lara Jr and wife Veronica S Lara brother Chris Lara and sister Amelia Orona and 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

He liked having bbqs and being around his family. He loved his oldies and was very hard working man. He was a golden glove boxer in his younger years and it was one of his favorite things to do. If your car broke down he could fix it. He had a big book of machanics to show him how to fix it.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Lara Jacob Lara Raymond Lara Eric Lara Chris Lara Alvarado Lara José Mancha Manny Orta.

The family of the Lara‘s which is to extend our sincere thanks to doctors and nurses at Medical Center, Hospital for all they did for our father.
