Joshua Anthony “Yoshi” Ruiz was born in Odessa to Elida Ellis & Reynaldo Ruiz on December 28,1986.  He went to school in Houston. He acquired his GED. He worked as a motor tech for Patriot drilling as well a tattoo artist for all stars ink. Joshua woke up every morning with the most up beat attitude towards life, He had a laugh  that could fill the room, He was a man of wise words, He showed his love in his  own ways, He was a man of many Traits there wasn’t anything he didn’t know how to do, He loved art and once he began his journey to becoming a tattoo artist it didn’t take long for his passion to thrive, He was a wonderful son he always made sure his mother was taken care of, He was a great father if you knew him you knew his kids where his world, He was a great Brother he and his baby sister Jessica Ruiz were inseparable they had their morning talks before heading to work BBQ’s and dinners together, He and his brother Nick Ruiz were best friends no matter the distance they were always in touch, As far as his older siblings he knew we gave the lectures and wasn’t one to take them lol, He was a great uncle to all of our kids and gave tuff love wanting to keep them on the right path in life, He might have carried the tuff persona but was a Teddy Bear he was sweet and kind.

Joshua Anthony “Yoshi” Ruiz  is survived by Parents; Elida Ellis and Reynaldo “Randy” Ruiz, Linda Rodriguez, Daughter; Alora Xo Ruiz, Rosalinda Lopez, Son; Zain Amadeus Ruiz and Daughter; Nali Amorette Ruiz, Brothers and their wife's; Randy Ruiz Ellis Jr. and Joylynn Ellis, Joe Ruiz and Joanne Ruiz, Nicholas Ruiz and Nicole Ruiz and Sisters; Angelina Linda Llanez, Crystal Carrasco, Sarah M Luján, Jessica Ruiz and her partner Steven G. Nephews; Martin Ellis,Elijah Flores, Nicholas Ellis,Jesse “Perez” Ruiz, Julius Ruiz,  Nathanul Lujan, Victor Lujan, Isaac Ellis, Auden Holguin, Anthony “AJ” Tuda, Jordan Tuda, Fernando Benavides, Elyon Rodriguez. Nieces Jazyln Ellis, Alexis López, Alicia Ruiz, Aaliyah Ruiz, Brooklyn Tuda, Ariel Ramirez, Kayk Ruiz Makayla Lopez, Skyla M. Benavides, Inagen R. Benavides and all his loved cousin unfortunately I can’t name you all we were a big family and to his close friends in the tattoo industry.

Pallbearers will be Randy Ruiz Ellis Jr., Joe Ruiz, Nicholas Ruiz, Anthony Ruiz, Peter Morales, Chris Ruiz
