Dominic is preceded in death by his father, Joe G. Mireles, Jr., and his grandfather Joe Mireles, Sr.

Dominic is survived by his mother: Terri Mireles; his daughter, Eliana Silva; his sisters: Leslie Mireles and Gabriela Mireles (Kara); his brother: Nicholas Mireles; his maternal grandparents: Faustino and Elisa Ramos; his paternal grandmother: Susie Mireles; aunt, uncles, and cousins.

Dominic, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, will be remembered for his kind heart, his laughter, and the joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him.

From a young age, Dominic was full of life and personality. He loved Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles, and he had a playful spirit. Dominic was always finding ways to push his mom’s buttons just to make her smile. That sense of humor stayed with him throughout his life, bringing laughter and light to those around him.

As he grew, Dominic became a man known for his generosity and compassion. He had a giving heart and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved his family deeply and cherished those close to him.

Dominic was also incredibly creative. He was an artist at heart, expressing himself through his work and his movement. He loved to breakdance, using it as a way to share his energy and joy. He also created murals on walls for his Ita and Ito—with permission—leaving behind pieces of art that reflected his spirit and talent.

One of the most meaningful moments in Dominic’s life was becoming a father. The excitement in his voice and the light in his eyes when he found out he was going to have a child will never be forgotten. When his baby was born, he was in awe, overwhelmed with love, and couldn’t believe how beautiful his child was. That love was deep and genuine.

Though miles may have separated him from his siblings at times, Dominic always carried a strong connection and love for them in his heart. Family meant everything to him.

Dominic faced struggles in his life, but those who loved him choose to remember the goodness, the love, and the light he brought into the world. His memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
