Jose G. Saucedo Gutierrez was 64, passed away Wednesday February 11th, 2026, in Odessa, Tx.

Jose G. Saucedo Gutierrez was born in Boquilla De Abajo, Zacatecas, Mexico to Parents Baltazar Gutierrez Perales and Celia Saucedo Zuniga on December 12th, 1961. He went to school at Alfonso Medina High School and graduated from Tamulipeca University.

Jose “Lupe” was a very smart man and did very well in school. He loved to recite poems and was academically inclined. Jose was very protective of his family. He worked in the petroleum industry, a very smart businessman and loved to spend time with his family. Jose was loving, compassionate and made friends everywhere he went. He was a very conservative man. Always well dressed and loved wearing jewelry and a business coat. He took pride in his children, loved to take care of his yard and had beautiful roses planted.

Jose is preceded in death by parents Baltazar, and Celia. Brothers Jose Luis, Alejandro and Delfino, and granddaughter Haley.

Jose is survived by children Lupe Gutierrez, Nicole Bolin husband Daniel Bolin, Jolie Compton, Jaime Jasso wife Kathrine Jasso, Saddy Gutierrez Rios husband Alfonso Rios, Jose Baltazar Gutierrez wife Monica Sylvas, Sandy Gutierrez Parks husband Lorrid Parks. Brothers and sisters, Jose Manuel Gutierrez, Jesus Gutierrez, Eloy Gutierrez wife Leticia Gutierrez, Julian Gutierrez wife Rosa Gutierrez, Miguel Gutierrez wife Gabriela Gutierrez, Mariana Saucedo Gutierrez, Baltazar Jr Gutierrez Wife Rosa Gutierrez. Grandchildren, Haydn Grilley wife Emily DeHoyos, Saniya Parks. Great grandchildren, Grayson Grilley.

Visitation is set for Thursday February 19, 2026, from 1pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass will be celebrated at 10am Friday February 20, 2026, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 2633 Conover Ave. Odessa, TX 79763, with Father Angel Castro officiating.

Burial will follow at American Heritage Cemetery 4100 N. FM1788 Midland, TX 79707

Pallbearers will be Jose Gutierrez, Jaime Jasso, Jesus Gutierrez, Eloy Gutierrez, Chay Gutierrez, Julian Gutierrez.

Jose G. Saucedo Gutiérrez tenía 64 años y falleció el Miércoles 11 de Febrero, 2026 en Odessa, Texas.

José G. Saucedo Gutiérrez nació en Boquilla De Abajo, Zacatecas, México, hijo de Baltazar Gutiérrez Perales y Celia Saucedo Zúñida, el 12 de Diciembre, 1961. Estudió en el Instituto Alfonso Medina y se graduó en la Universidad de Tamulípeca.

José "Lupe" era un hombre muy inteligente y le iba muy bien en el colegio. Le encantaba recitar poemas y tenía inclinaciones académicas. José era muy protector con su familia. Trabajó en la industria petrolera, era un empresario muy inteligente y le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia. José era cariñoso, compasivo y hacía amigos cada donde iba. Era un hombre muy conservador. Siempre bien vestido y le encantaba llevar joyas y abrigo de negocio. Se sentía orgulloso de sus hijos, le encantaba cuidar su jardín y plantaba hermosas rosas.

José fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres Baltazar y Celia; sus Hermanos José Luis, Alejandro y Delfino, y su nieta Haley.

Jose deja a sus hijos: Lupe Gutiérrez, Nicole Bolin (esposo Daniel Bolin), Jolie Compton, Jaime Jasso (esposa Kathrine Jasso), Saddy Gutiérrez Ríos (esposo Alfonso Ríos), José Baltazar Gutiérrez (esposa Monica Sylvas), y Sandy Gutiérrez Parks (esposo Lorrid Parks). Hermanos y hermanas: José Manuel Gutiérrez, Jesús Gutiérrez, Eloy Gutiérrez (Leticia Gutiérrez), Julián Gutiérrez (esposa Rosa Gutiérrez), Miguel Gutiérrez, (esposa Gabriela Gutiérrez), Mariana Saucedo Gutiérrez, y Baltazar Jr. Gutiérrez (esposa Rosa Gutiérrez). Nietos: Haydn Grilley (esposa Emily DeHoyos), y Saniya Parks. Bisnieto: Grayson Grilley.

Sera velado el jueves 19 de Febrero, 2026, de 1:00 a 9:00 PM, con un rosario a las 7:00 PM en la capilla de la funeraria Martinez.

La misa se celebrará a las 10:00 AM el Viernes 20 de Febrero, 2026 en la Iglesia Católica Holy Redeemer, 2633 Conover Ave., Odessa, TX 79763, con el padre Ángel Castro oficiando.

El entierro tendrá lugar en el Cementerio American Heritage 4100 N. FM1788 Midland, TX 79707 sigiendo la celebracion de misa. 

Los portadores del féretro serán: José Gutiérrez, Jaime Jasso, Jesús Gutiérrez, Eloy Gutiérrez, Chay Gutiérrez y Julián Gutiérrez.
