Johnny David Reyna Sr. (65) of Brownfield Texas passed away on Monday March 29th, 2021 in Odessa, Texas.
Viewing on Wednesday March 31st at Martinez Funeral Home from 1pm – 9pm with a rosary starting at 7pm.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday April 1st, 2021 at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church in Odessa, Texas.
Johnny David Reyna Sr. was born in Brownfield, Texas to Carlos Reyna and Estella Solis on July 20th, 1955. He was raised by Jesus Napoles and Rosa Napoles in Midland where he went to school and later moved to Levelland, Texas. He married Anita Ruiz and had twin sons Johnny Reyna Jr and Daniel Reyna. He returned back to Midland / Odessa in the mid 80’s where he continued to work in the oil field. He met Christina Montez and they were married on September 25th, 2000 in Odessa, Texas. Johnny and Christina were happily married for over 20 years and loved spending time with family and friends.
Johnny is preceded in death by his father Carlos Reyna of Odessa, Oscar Hernandez of Lubbock, Robert Napoles of Midland, and 3 sisters Juana, Maria, and Josephina from Midland Texas.
Johnny is survived by his wife Christina Reyna, His sons Johnny and Daniel Reyna both of Dallas, Texas along with their spouses. His brothers Daniel Reyna of Lorain Ohio, Carlos “Tiger” Reyna Jr. of Nashville Tennessee, and Antonio Napoles, Martin Napoles, Jesus Napoles Jr, and Juan Napoles of Midland, Texas. His mother Estella Hernandez of Lubbock. He has 8 grandchildren who he loved dearly Kevin Romero of Midland, Kassandra Benitez of Lubbock, Andrew Villafranco of Dallas, Michael Reyna of San Antonio, Daniel Reyna Jr. of Lubbock, Matthew Reyna of Dallas, Isaiah Reyna of Dallas, and Alyssa Reyna of Lubbock along with 7 great grandchildren. He spent a lot of time with his extended family and was very close to Roman and Anna Montez of Stanton along with many extended family members in Stanton, Texas.
