John "Hippy" Ramirez

John “Hippy” Edward Ramirez, 29, of Odessa, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021, in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation for John will be held 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Martinez Funeral Home Outside Chapel.  Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Odessa Gospel Lighthouse Church with Pastor Eddie officiating.

John was born in Odessa to Luz Elena Ramirez and Arnaldo Ramos on May 5, 1992. He went to school in Odessa.  He married Emily Ann Zorrilla Ramirez on June 15, 2021, In Odessa, Texas and together they have five children.  John was a business owner/operator for 10 plus years in the Oilfield industry.

John is preceded in death by cousins, Baudilio (Bo Jr) Ramirez and Brandon (Bam) Ramirez.

John is survived by his loving wife, Emily Ann Ramirez; five children, Xavier Mendoza, Mason Mendoza, Ashlynn Nunez, Maximus Ramirez, Mylani Ramirez; mother, Luz Elena Ramirez; three brothers, Angel Rea Ramirez, Jonathan Ramirez, Aaron Ramirez; two sisters, Adonica Ramirez and Megan Hinojos; two sisters in-law, Bianca Ramirez and Audrey Reyes; brother in law, Fabian Zorrilla; nieces and nephews, Alijah Pando, Jaime Bejarano, Genesis Bejarano, Aiden Ramirez, Jaylee Ramirez, Anysnn Ramirez, Jonathan Liam Ramirez, Noah Ramirez, Levi Ramirez, Aaron Bentley Ramirez.

Pallbearers are as follows: Angel Ramirez, Jonathan Ramirez, Aaron Ramirez, Fabian Zorrilla, Chris Solis, E.J. Villa, Jose Compuzano, Armando Cortez, Dario Orona.
