Joey Zuniga, 49 of Odessa, Texas, Passed away on December 4, 2020 in Odessa, Texas

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10:00AM at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel with Father Joe Eucker officiating. The service will be livestreamed, please go to www.Martinezfuneral.com and select Joey’s obituary

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 1:00pm -9:00pm at Martinez Funeral Home.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions all services are limited to 40 person, with rotation. Masks and Social Distancing are required within the funeral home and at the graveside services. Friend are able to attend the graveside services as long as social distancing is followed, and masks are worn at all times.

Joey was born in Fort Stockton Texas to Tino & Tina Zuniga on January 31, 1971, He went to school at Odessa High School. He married Lisa Hiitola on February 13, 199 in Odessa, Texas. He drove eighteen-wheelers all his life. He loved his family and getting together for late night Bar B Ques, but especially the Dallas Cowboys. Joey was their number one fan.

He is proceeded in death by his son, Dallas Zuniga, his grandparents Genaro & Francisca Pules and his uncle Sergio Pules (aka Animal)

Joey is Survived by his wife Lisa Zuniga, his daughter Hjordan and his son Anthonee Zuniga, his granddaughter Alaenna and grandson Aberam, his parents Tino & Tina Zuniga, his sister Elizabeth Garcia and Margaret Granado (Luis Granado), his brother Louis Garcia (Lori) and Chalo Zuniga, his nephews Nathan and Sean Garcia and niece Carina Granado, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Garcia, Sean Garcia, Louis Garcia, Chris Zuniga, Zack Zuniga, Richard Pules and Sammy Carrasco.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors of the CCU unit and Medical Center Hospital. And also to all our family and friends for your prayers.
