Jesus Maldonado

Our beloved Jesse "Big Tex" Maldonado passed May 29, 2019 in Odessa, TX. Jesse was born in Eden, TX on July 1, 1942 to the late Modesto and Andrea Maldonado.

He worked as an oilfield operator as well as many other construction jobs to provide for himself and his family. He loved to root on his favorite teams the Texas Rangers and Houston Texans. In addition, he enjoyed his John Wayne movies among many others. Family was a huge part of his life and he enjoyed cookouts and get togethers with his loved ones. Jesse will be remembered by his strength and head-strong independence.

Those left to cherish his memories are brothers: Adolf Maldonado and Raymond Maldonado; Wife Sixta; Children: Luis Maldonado and wife Isela, Lonnie Maldonado and wife Candace, Kathy Vargas and husband Joe, Danielle Navarrette and husband John, Jennifer Maldonado and Jason Maldonado; Grandchildren: Adelle, Louis Jr, JoeAngel, Nicholas, Joel, Maria Elena, John Jesse, Zamien, Eunique, Joshua, Mariah, Amethyst and Eric; Great Grandchildren: Audri, Ruben, Joseph, Kaleb, and Rohan.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date. The family of Jesse Maldonado would like to give they're thanks to everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
