Jesus Hernandez

Jesus Hernandez, 87, of Odessa Texas, passed away on November 16^th, 2023 in Odessa Texas.

Visitation will be Tuesday November 21^st from 9am-9pm at Martinez Funeral home. Rosary will be at 7pm Tuesday 21^st.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday 22^nd at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church with Father Francis of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton officiating. Cremation will follow at Martinez Crematory at a later date.

Jesus was born in Lerdo Durango Mexico to Lucas Hernandez Huerta & Martina Hernandez Diaz on October 19^th, 1936. He went to School in Lerdo Durango Mexico. In 1959 he moved from Lerdo Durando to Juarez Chihuahua. He was married to Alicia Hernandez on October of 1962 in Juarez Chihuahua. In 1970 they moved to Frisco Texas then moved to Odessa Texas in 1974 and made it his home. He worked for and retired from the City of Odessa.

Jesus is preceded in death by his lovely wife Alicia (Licha) Hernandez, Father Lucas Hernandez Huerta, Mother Martina Hernandez Diaz. Sisters: Antonia Hernandez, Martina Luna, Elida Gomez, Maria De Los Angeles Price, Rosa Rodriguez, Brother: Lucas Hernandez

Jesus is survived by his Daughters: Patty Barraza, Martha Herrera, Patricia Prieto, Angeles Hernandez. Sons: Martin Hernandez and wife Melanie Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez and wife Elisa Hernandez, Lucas Hernandez and wife Carolina Hernandez, Jonathan Hernandez, Brother: Ricardo Hernandez, Sister: Gloria Lopez

Grandchildren: Lucas, Mariah, Jordan, Kayla, Amber, Jesse Jr. Carlos, Charis, Christian, Christopher, Ted, Dennis, Erik, Brianna, Jose, Camila, Patty, Cristina, Cesar, and Favila.

Great Grandchildren: Destiny, Jazlyn, Mila, Aubrey, Josiah, Taylor, Aliyah, Ryan Jr., Isarias, Jameson, Caeden, Lily, Luna, Cannon, Anthony, Brooklyn, Christian, Tessa, Aiden, Olivia, Taj, Cruz, Isabel, Damian and Adrian.

Pallbearers will be Lucas Hernandez, Martin Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Eloy Guerrero, Lucas Jr. Hernandez, Jordan Hernandez, Carlos Hernandez.
