Hector Soliz

Hector S. Soliz, 76, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born July 3, 1936 in Ramirez, TX to Ciprano Morin and Aida Sanchez Soliz.

He worked as a plant operator in the oil gas industry.

He is preceded in death by son, Raul Soliz parents, Cipriano Aida Soliz brothers, Gilberto, Cipriano Jr., and Rene Soliz sisters, Diana and Felipa Soliz.

Hector is survived by his wife, Maria Rodriguez Soliz of Odessa sons, Hector Soliz, Jr. and Rene Soliz, both of Odessa daughters, Mary Aurora Soliz Daramola, Gloria Renee Nanez, Carol Yvonne Soliz, and Gabriele Lynn Soliz, all of Odessa brothers, Rubin Soliz of Quemado, Alvaro Soliz and Ramiro Soliz, both of CA sisters, Linda Soliz and Juana Soliz Rodriguez, both of CA 12 grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013 and Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 9 AM 9 PM at MartinezSmith Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 16, 2013 at New Life Chapel with Pastor Marcos Zuniga officiating. Burial will follow at the Peaceful Gardens section of the Ector County Cemetery.
