Frances Muller, 93, of Lamy, NM passed away on December 9, 2023, in Odessa, Tx.
Frances was born in Lamy, NM to Leandro and Julia Chavez on October 10,1930. She married her husband, Pat Muller, Sr., on December 27, 1950, in Pecos, New Mexico. Frances and Pat moved to Odessa, Tx in 1959 where she was a homemaker and took pride in caring for her family and her home. Frances was a devoted Catholic and was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Frances completed her Cursillo at St. Anthony's and was also a former Guadalupana who enjoyed volunteering for her church when she was younger. Frances was an amazing wife, mother, and Nana to her family, who showed love to everyone, and she will forever be missed.
Frances is proceeded in death by her husband; Pat Muller, Sr, son; Pat Muller, Jr., granddaughter; Yvonne Ramirez, father; Leandro Chavez, mother; Julia Chavez, and 1 sister and 5 brothers.
Frances is survived by her daughters; Sally Prieto (Jesus Prieto, Sr.), Pat Doris Ortiz (Juan Jose Ortiz), Marilyn Aguilar (Artemio Aguilar), Peggy Ramirez, and Penny Muller, sisters; Rosa Vargas and Esperanza Olivas,
Frances also leaves to cherish her memory 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren with 1 on the way, and various nieces and nephews.
Visitation has been set for Thursday December 14, 2023, from 1pm-9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home chapel.
A mass has been set for 10am Friday December 15, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 1321 W Monahans St. Odessa, TX 79763 with Father Carlos Rodriguez officiating. The burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery in the ‘Rosehill section’.
Pallbearers will be Roy Soria, Khalid Smith, Dakoi Lide, Paul Franco, Julian Franco, and Angel Venegas. Honorary pallbearers will be Jakoi Lide and Jesse Venegas.
The family of Frances wishes to extend our sincere thanks for the many prayers and outpouring of love from all our family and friends. Also, our utmost gratitude to Home Hospice Nursing for being so caring and sincere to our beautiful Nana until the very end.
