Enedina Sanchez Ornelas, 97 years old, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2023, in Odessa, Texas.

Enedina Sanchez Ornelas was born in Malaga, New Mexico, to Pedro Sanchez and Cliofas Rodriguez on February 2, 1926. She married Luis Ornelas on September 28, 1947, in Grandfalls, Texas. Enedina loved to sew and gift her crafts to friends, family, and others who she welcomed into her life. She never missed an opportunity to challenge herself to solve word puzzles or guess the correct prices on the Price is Right game show. She loved being surrounded by loved ones and filled their life with love and laughter. Enedina was the heart of the family and will be missed dearly.

Enedina Sanchez Ornelas is preceded in death by her daughter, Olga Ornelas Gomez, and husband, Luis Ornelas.

Enedina Sanchez Ornelas is survived by her five children, brothers Ruben Sanchez and Pete Sanchez, and sister Emma Pando,

Grandma Enedina also leaves to cherish her memory grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is set for Wednesday September 27, 2023 from 1pm-9pm with a scheduled rosary at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home chapel.

Mass is set for 1pm Thursday September 28, 2023, at St Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Frank Chavez officiating.

Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery 'Peaceful Garden section'
