Elmer Greene

Elmer Ray Greene, 87, went to be with the Lord December 26, 2013.

He was born October 18, 1926 Near Vernon, Texas to John F Greene and Ethel P Mcilhaney. He married Thelma L. Gene Foster July 2, 1956.

Memorial services will be scheduled for a later date.

Elmer is survived by his wife, Thelma Gene Greene, sons, Toney Olson wife Connie of Cotton Grove, Oregon, Johnny R Greene of Odessa, daughter, Sherry McWilliams of Reno, Nevada and sister, Ethel P Hall of Odessa, daughterinlaw, Linda Greene and soninlaw Darryl McGinty. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sons Frankie Greene and Randy D Greene, daughter Tammey R McGinty and granddaughter Shawna Nicole McGinty.

Elmer served in the US Army. He worked in the oilfield for many years as a driller and a tool pusher.
