Elidia Salgado

Elidia A. Salgado transitioned peacefully on Sunday night December 19, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm a Rosary will be recited at 7pm at Martinez Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday December 23, 2021, at 10:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2633 Conover Ave, Odessa, Tx 79763

Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens – Section C

Lila, (affectionally known) was born in Roswell, New Mexico December 25, 1937, to Pedro & Silveria Albarez. She married Jose “Joe” Salgado November 19, 1952. Together their love left behind a everlasting legacy.

Elidia A. Salgado is survived by 5 daughters, Nancy husband Agustin Vasquez, Bonnie husband Fernando Olivas, Josie husband Hipolito Franco all of Odessa, Carolyn husband Victor Tercero of Midland, 1 son Joe wife Hope Salgado of Horseshoe Bay, Viola Chavez of Midland, 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 9 great great- grandchildren.  Elidia will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Pallbearers are Agustin Vasquez Jr., Christopher Olivas, Raul Franco, Richard Abelino, Gabriel Acosta, and Joe Raymond Galindo.

Arrangements are entrusted to Martinez Funeral Home and Crematory of Odessa, Texas.
