Dovie Alberta Williams, 93, passed away on August 1,2026 in Odessa Tx.

Dovie was born in Hammond, TX to Wille and Jennie B. on July 27, 1933. Dovie married Clevan Williams in October of 1956. Dovie worked in the cafeteria at Ector High School for ECISD for a little over 20 years. Dovie was involved in Girl Scouts and all church activities.

Dovie is proceeded in death by her parents, brothers (Greene & UL), sisters (Minnie & Ida) and husband Clevan.

Dovie is survived by her brother RL Wiley (Helen) of Dallas Tx, children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. Sons, Clevan Wayne, Steve (J’Mirian, Traveil & his wife/children) & daughter April (Elexxas, Za”Mari & Za’Riah) & (Shandria & Jordan)

Visitation will be from 1pm-6pm, Thursday, August 13.2026 at Martinez Funeral Home.

Funeral/Wake services will be held from 7pm-8pm Thursday evening at Martinez Funeral Home with Pastor James Bolton of SJBMC & Ray Lawrence of RP & HSM. Burial will follow, Friday, August 14, 2026, from 11am-12pm at Sunset Memorial with Pastor James Bolton and Ray Lawrence. Arrangements are with Martinez Funeral Home.
